Hyde Brewing plans to open a bit of a mixed used space in July at 2911 Griffith Street. Owner Dan Hyde has grand plans for the space that include The Suffolk Punch, a dining and drinking destination that will encompass a taphouse, coffee bar and cafe. In the center of it all? A fermentation lab for experimenting with new food and beer ideas. A bar, indoor and outdoor seating and plenty of entertainment space are all in the works.

The 33-story office tower at 400 S. Tryon uptown will soon be home to a new farm-focused restaurant, b.good. Think farm-fresh here...the menu will feature ingredients sourced from local farms. What to expect when it opens? Items such as kale and grain bowls, seasonal salads, burgers and more. Stay tuned.
