Hospitality Expo 2017

On February 3rd, Springer Mountain Farms was back at the annual Hospitality Expo hosted at the Georgia International Convention Center, providing water for the attendees and more importantly the opportunity to learn from some of the city’s greatest chefs and butchers.

Chefs Rusty Bowers (Pine Street Market), Savannah Sasser (Twains), and Brian Carson (The Mercury) joined Springer Mountain Farms on Friday to mentor select students on fabrication techniques and best practices surrounding sanitation.

Chefs Bowers and Sasser provided one-on-one guidance on how to cut whole chickens into an 8-piece cut while Chef Carson prepared a delicious seared curry chicken with smoked cauliflower and a creamy raita made of yogurt, buttermilk, lemon juice, apples and seasoning.
